DualBackup Back up home computer

DualBackup Data Security
Security of your data  is our top priority. DualBackup provides end-to-end data encryption.

1. 256-Bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)
The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is an encryption standard adopted by the U.S. government for data security. 256-bit AES is military strength encryption. It has higher security level than your online banking. You data is always encrypted with 256-bit AES using your private encryption key when being transferred over the network and in storage. When you restore your data, the data is decrypted in your computer only, not on the server.

DualBackup encrypts both file contents and file names. This makes DualBackup a better choice for data security, as most of the online backup providers do not encrypt file names.

2. 256-Bit SSL Data Transfer
Transfer channel is secure with 256-bit SSL when data is transferred to our online backup server. You data is encrypted twice before leaving your computer, first by 256-bit AES using your private encryption key, then by the 256-bit SSL.
3. Two-Password Protection
DualBackup have two levels of password protection. One is for data encryption, the second one is for online backup login. The data encryption key is known to you only. No one else can access and know the contents of your encrypted data, not even our staff.
